Does AntiAway move the pointer or type anything?+
No. It posts a minimal mouse-moved activity event at the pointer’s current coordinates. It does not click, type, or visibly reposition the cursor.
Why does it need Accessibility permission?+
macOS requires Accessibility access for an app to post a local input event. AntiAway uses that permission only for its activity signal.
Does it work while the Mac is locked or asleep?+
No. AntiAway does not bypass the lock screen, system sleep, or organization policies. It is intended for an unlocked Mac while you are actively working.
Does it guarantee a specific presence status everywhere?+
No. Every communication app and managed organization can apply its own presence rules. AntiAway only provides a local activity signal.
What data does the app collect?+
None. The app has no account, analytics, telemetry, screen capture, or activity history.
How do I uninstall it?+
Quit AntiAway, remove it from Applications, and optionally remove its Accessibility and Login Items entries in System Settings.
